COLORS & INSPIRATION These earrings are so fun to make! As soon as I set foot in California, I knew I had to figure out how to capture the quiet stillness of cactuses in ceramics, and these earrings are the result! The matte green glaze is cool and deep, just like prickly pear cactus paddles, and the teeny prickles stick out just enough from the surface. _________________________________

MATERIALS & PROCESS Each of these handmade, ceramic earrings started as a soft lump of recycled clay. They were formed by hand, then fired twice in a kiln, reaching up to 2300° F. Stainless steel posts are then added with jewelry safe glue. _________________________________
